Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s Luka Chuppi has impressed the theatre-going audience as well as the critics. And with that the movie raked in the moolah, earning more than Rs 30 crore at the domestic box office over the first weekend. For those of you who don’t know, Luka Chuppi is a quirky tale of Guddu (Kartik Aaryan) and Rashmi (Kriti Sanon). How they fall in love, get into a live-in relationship and pose as a fake married-couple forms the rest of the story. While India still considers live-in relationship as a taboo, what is Kartik and Kriti’s take about it?

In an exclusive conversation with CineBlitz, Kartik Aaryan revealed, “Live-in relationship is about two individuals who have they own say, their own thinking. If they want to take a compatibility test just before they take the big decision of getting married with each other, I think, why not? We live in a place where we are free to think, free to act. Unless someone is getting hurt or you are not forcing someone, then it is okay. It depends on the people in that relationship and who want to take that decision.” Kriti also agrees, as she reiterates, “Everything is fair in love. I do feel that and when you are in love, you are mature enough to know what you want and how you want to take that relationship forward. It is only the two of you who can decide (to be in a live-in or not). And people should let the two of you only decide.”

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced Dinesh Vijan, Luka Chuppi also stars Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, amongst others. Anyway, check out our interview with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon to see what they had to say!
