Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy is making all the right noises. After some fantastic posters, the captivating trailer and story pumped everybody up for the movie. But wait till you see the first song. Yes, the makers dropped the first song of Gully Boy today (January 14) and we have to say it is upbeat and energetic. Titled Apna Time Aayega, the song sees Ranveer Singh make his singing debut as he raps the lyrics. Composed by Dub Sharma and DIVINE and penned by DIVINE and Ankur Tewari, Apna Time Aayega will surely give you goosebumps! In fact, Ranveer’s infectious energy and his killer rap cannot be missed, it’s hard, in the language of rappers.

In the video, we see Ranveer’s quest to be a rapper. We even see how he struggles in his day-to-day life, how his father doesn’t support him and also his love story with Alia. The beats are really catchy and you will totally want to dance to the tunes of Apna Time Aayega. The lyrics like, “Jitna toonay boya hai, tu Utna hee toh khaayega” and “Tu nanga hi toh aaya hai, kya ghanta le kar jaayega. Apna time aayega,” are interesting to hear and people will surely relate to it colloquial lingo feel. Visually, it is fantastic and you will want to hear this one on loop. Malaal staring debutants Meezaan Jaffery and Sharmin Segal has been getting a good response for its trailer and songs. While the makers have released three songs from the film’s album, namely, Aila Re, Zara Suno and Udhal Ho, today (June 25) the fourth song titled Aai Shappat was released.

This romantic song is sung by Rutvik Talashikhar and its music is composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Aai Shappat has Marathi flavour to its music which is incorporated in the song quite beautifully. The song is set in the backdrop of Diwali, where Meezaan is telling his feeling to Sharmin with a stage performance. While the 2 minute 25 seconds video looks quite simple, it still has a fun vibe to it. Watch the video below:

Meezaan Jaaferi and Sharmin Segal’s debut film Malaal is less than a month away. The makers have already impressed the audience with the trailer and the first song Aila Re also went on to be a hit. And today (June 12) a new song from the film has released, titled Udhal Ho. After seeing the song, we must that no one but only Sanjay Leela Bhansali has cracked the code to make the festive songs so much fun. Featuring Meezan and Sharmin the song is composed by SLB and fits perfectly into the Maharashtrian vibe of the film.

Udhal Ho is sung by famous Marathi singer Adarsh Shinde. The lyrics are by Prashant Ingole who has previously worked with SLB on Bajirao Mastani in 2015. Weaved around the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations the song begins with the tunes of banjo and set the mood just right. The highlight in the song is Meezan and Sharmin’s raw chemistry. Choreographed by Kruti Mahesh Midya the dance routine is simple yet fun to watch.
