Varun Dhawan’s Kalank is one of the most exciting films of the year. The trailer of the movie has already impressed and intrigued one and all. The first song, Ghar More Pardesiya, left everyone mesmerised. But wait till you see the second track. Titled First Class, the dance number is set on Varun Dhawan’s entry in the movie. Kiara Advani is also a part of the song and we have to say their chemistry is scintillating. Sung by Arijit Singh, the foot-tapping song is a retro number from the 1950s. But the beats will make you want to get up and dance right away!
Kalank song First Class is set in Hira Mandi and we see Varun Dhawan make a stellar entry. His energetic dance is captivating and the hook step is really cool. Don’t be surprised to see it being copied by one and all at parties. The music composed by Pritam is fabulous and you will want to hear this song on loop. The lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya and they resonate pretty well with the setting, era and tunes. Remo D’Souza’s choreography has to be applauded, while we have to say the song is a visual treat courtesy Abhishek Varman’s direction.

Directed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank is a family, partition drama set in the 1940s. Also starring Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Madhuri Dixit, the movie is set to release on April 17. Malaal song Udhal Ho: Meezaan Jaaferi – Sharmin Segal give us the ultimate festive song of the year

Meezaan Jaaferi and Sharmin Segal’s debut film Malaal is less than a month away. The makers have already impressed the audience with the trailer and the first song Aila Re also went on to be a hit. And today (June 12) a new song from the film has released, titled Udhal Ho. After seeing the song, we must that no one but only Sanjay Leela Bhansali has cracked the code to make the festive songs so much fun. Featuring Meezan and Sharmin the song is composed by SLB and fits perfectly into the Maharashtrian vibe of the film.
Udhal Ho is sung by famous Marathi singer Adarsh Shinde. The lyrics are by Prashant Ingole who has previously worked with SLB on Bajirao Mastani in 2015. Weaved around the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations the song begins with the tunes of banjo and set the mood just right. The highlight in the song is Meezan and Sharmin’s raw chemistry. Choreographed by Kruti Mahesh Midya the dance routine is simple yet fun to watch.

Kalank was released a few weeks back but didn’t impress viewers, as it did not live up to the expectations and the enormous amount of hype. Even though the film didn’t do well at the box office, the songs of the film have achieved popularity. The title track of Kalank is one of the most loved songs. After listening to Arijit Singh’s voice for the title track, now singer Shilpa Rao’s female version is a must listen for all.
Zee Music shares the video of Shilpa singing the female version of the Kalank track and her rendition is both soulful and soothing. As we see in the video there are minimal instruments used and it’s the pure voice of Shilpa which is doing the magic. The music is given by Pritam while Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned down this beautiful song. Watch video:
