Lyricist Kunaal Vermaa, who garnered much fame for his heartbreak songs like Tum Hi Aana from Marjavaan and Chale Aana from De De Pyaar De is back with yet another massy song Zoom Zoom from the year’s much awaited film Radhe featuring Salman Khan and Disha Patani. Known for writing sad and romantic songs, Zoom Zoom is an out-and-out dance number written by versatile Kunaal.

Talking about Zoom Zoom song, Kunaal shares, “This is my first collaboration with Sajid-Wajid and the last song I jammed with both of them, after few days Wajid bhai left us. They gave me a humming audio and asked me to write some quirky lyrics on it and eventually I got succeeded. Since then, I and Sajid bhai are working frequently on so many tracks together.”

“While writing Zoom Zoom, only Salman Khan and Sajid-Wajid were in my mind because I am a huge fan of this deadly combo. I didn’t want to leave this opportunity and I presented the lyrics after a couple of days and Sajid sir looked at me and said “kamaal kiye re chore tune“, from there to here, we have become buddies,” he further adds.

After grooving to Slow Motion in Bharat, Salman and Disha are back together. Kunaal says, “Salman bhai and Disha Patani have killed it in the song. It is amazingly sung by Ash & Iulia and of course Aditya Dev’s production is lit.”

Talking about his journey, Kunaal shares, “I was in college when Wanted got released and it was my most favourite film of Salman bhai. It seems like a dream come true as I used to think every time while watching Wanted that why my song is not in the film? I used to imagine him dancing on my lyrics and here comes Zoom Zoom.”

Earlier Kunaal Vermaa has penned popular songs such as Hasi Ban Gaye (Humari Adhuri Kahani), Duniya (Luka Chuppi), Tum Hi Aana (Marjavaan), Chale Aana (De De Pyaar De), Pal (Jalebi), Malang (Malang), Ghar Se Nikalte Hi (Armaan Malik single) to name a few. He has also collaborated with international artists like Marshmallow, Jeson Derulo and Dua Lipa in the past.
