Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha in the Mungda song from Total Dhamaal

Total Dhamaal’s latest song – Mungda is out! Released by Akshay Kumar and featuring Sonakshi Sinha and Ajay Devgn, the song is a recreation of the hit Helen number Mungda from Inkar (1977). Akshay took to Twitter to share the song. And we must say that the upbeat tempo and the new look lends to a completely new feel and vibe. The song has been revamped completely. Neither the look nor the feel is reminiscent of the yesteryear hit dance number. The setting of the Helen song was in a bar, with the actress dressed in a desi avatar. Sonakshi’s song is a glitzy affair which will see her dazzle in a shimmery golden short number.

Looking ultra-glamorous, Sonakshi’s moves will have you grooving with her even. She is joined in by Ajay who tries to match his steps with his hot co-star. Sonakshi is making a special appearance in the film only with this dance number. And we must say she’s done the song full justice. The song is sung by Jyotica Tangri, Shaan, and Subhro Ganguly. It is re-arranged by Gourov-Roshin with additional lyrics penned by Kunwar Juneja. Sharing the song, Akshay tweeted, “When two of your favourites @sonakshisinha and @ajaydevgn come together to recreate your favourite song #Mungda, it is nothing less than #TotalDhamaal!” Check out the Total Dhamaal song Mungda right here!

Indra Kumar’s upcoming adventure comedy Total Dhamaal had earlier released the song Paisa Paisa that had Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Anil Kapoor and rest of the cast dancing to the tunes of the recreated version of Rishi Kapoor’s hit number Paisa yeh Paisa from Karz. Produced by Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria, the film is set to release on February 22.
