Total Dhamaal song Mungda: Sonakshi Sinha looks stunning as she recreates Helen’s magical dance number

Bollywood just can’t seem to get enough of old hits and dance numbers. And Indra Kumar’s upcoming adventure comedy Total Dhamaal seems to have recreated not one, but two old hits! The makers had recently released the song Paisa Paisa that had Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Anil Kapoor and the rest of the cast dancing to the groovy tunes of the recreated version of Rishi Kapoor’s hit number Paisa yeh Paisa from Karz. And now the makers are ready to unleash another hit number from yesteryear. This time around it’s Sonakshi Sinha who will be seen dancing to the tunes of the hit Helen dance number Mungda (from 1977 film Inkar). The song will be released tomorrow (February 4).

The film has Sonakshi in a special appearance and the song has been picturised on her and Ajay Devgn. Sonakshi shared the look on Instagram announcing the song’s release tomorrow, with a post that read: “Mungdaaaa… mungdaaaaa…#Mungda is out tomorrow at 11 am and its going to be #TotalDhamaal!!! Insiders reveal that the original number has been completely revamped into a dance number with upbeat music and it will look nothing like the old track. The song will have Sonakshi reunite with her Son of Sardaar co-star Ajay Devgn, five years after their last film together, Action Jackson (2014). Interestingly, this is the second time that Sonakshi will be seen grooving to a Helen number. Earlier the actress had danced to Helen’s Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu in last year’s Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi (2018). Now all eyes are on the actress to see if she can recreate Helen’s screen magic with Mungda when the song releases tomorrow.
