Henna BrarKalank has everyone waiting eagerly for April 17 (its release date). The trailer and songs being released have only been adding to the build-up. The film’s first released song Ghar More Pardesiya that featuring a jugalbandi between Madhuri Dixit Nene and Alia Bhatt released some time back and since then everyone has been talking about how effortless both the beauties look.
Set against the backdrop of Ramayana, every frame is truly exquisite. Seeing Alia Bhatt’s flawless Kathak, makes us wonder if she has trained for the dance form earlier. Today, Kalank makers just dropped the making video of Ghar More Pardesiya and hard work gone behind it is simply impressive.
In the video, we can see the art and set design team do a lot of research on Ramayana with old paintings and books to recreate the scene where Alia walks through the streets where RamLeela is being performed. The design team got someone from Lucknow to recreate the grand chandeliers that are so evident in the video. Choreographer Remo D’souza has done a fantastic job on this song. In the video, Madhuri Dixit talks about the sheer visual delights on sets, calling the imagery mind-blowing. Alia is seen training vigorously for the song. She says she was really nervous for the song but luckily for her Madhuri was not going to dance alongside her. Alia says this song is quite symbolic as it is the start of Madhuri and Alia’s relationship in the movie.
Well, we are loving Alia’s newfound talent and just can’t get over the beautiful Madhuri Dixit Nene in Ghar More Pardesiya. Kalank also stars Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal parts. Set to release on April 17, the film is directed by Abhishek Varman.
