We love Ranveer Singh for several reasons and one of them happens to be his quirky posts on the social media. On Thursday, the actor shared a video of himself recreating the famous song Mere Do Anmol Ratan from the film Ram Lakhan and introduced rappers Divine and Naved (Naezy) as his ‘do Anmol Ratan’. In the video, Ranveer is seen lip-syncing the song with Divine and Naved also singing with him. “Mere do Anmol Ratan,” Ranveer captioned his video, which appears to have been taken at a dubbing studio. The post also got over almost four lakh views within minutes of posting it.

Gully Boy, starring Ranveer and Alia Bhatt, is inspired by the struggles and work of Divine and Naezy and they are even closely associated with the film. After posting the video, Ranveer shared his picture with Divine and Naezy, captioning it the, “Wolfpack”. We agree with you Ranveer! In the film, directed by Zoya Akhtar, Ranveer plays the role of a street rapper, who later becomes a sensation in the world of hip-hop while Alia stars as his love interest. Regarding Gully Boy,  in an interview, Zoya said, “It is not a biopic on Divine and Naezy. It is a fictional story. It is inspired by them and their music. They worked with us on the script to make it authentic. There are lot of things from their life but it is not a biopic.” Check the tweet below:

Kalki Koechlin is also a part of Gully Boy that is slated to release on February 14. Since Ranveer is known to have a high emotional quotient, he is able to maintain the amount of energy and able to deliver a hit and we have a feeling that Gully Boy will not be any different.

Trust Shah Rukh Khan to go the extra mile and use his star power to help benefit social causes! He had done the same, when he had met acid attack survivors last month (March 8) and helped them achieve their dreams through his Meer Foundation. For those of you who don’t know, the foundation was set up in the memory of his late father, to help acid attack survivors start a new life afresh.

With the help of Meer Foundation initiative, they have been helping 50 acid attack survivors from across the country with skin corrective surgeries. The surgeries will be taking place in Delhi and Varanasi. SRK interacted with these girls before their surgeries, instilling in them hope and encouraging them along the way. The surgeries will give the survivors a chance to restore their dreams and they looked happy. One of the survivors said, “We will go wherever we are called to work, we are happy for the support.” They even shared a video showing some beautiful interactions.

Well, here’s hoping that SRK’s kind act will encourage and inspire many more to do their bit towards several other social causes too.

After posting his workout video yesterday (April 18), he posted another video today (April 19) which is his transformation on Day 2. As we see in the video, Hrithik is giving his best to get the body he wants and his caption reads, “Transformation journey Day 2. Owing to too many injuries over the years, I’ve adopted ZMR’s (zero momentum reps). It helped my rehab along with gaining strength so much so that it’s now become a part of the HRX workout module at Cult.fit 1 rep could equal 1 minute. .n yeah that’s 10 pounds. (Gotto start somewhere right ?). And at the end, you are supposed to say faaaaaa….aaaa! ( a rule is a rule what can I say). PS: this used to be so much easier 20 years ago).” Clearly, he is pushing his limits, but that hasn’t dampened the 45-year-old actor’s sense of humour as he openly took a dig at his own age.

For now, Hrithik Roshan will soon be seen in Super 30 where he is playing the role of mathematician Anand Kumar. Apart from this, there’s another untitled film in which Hrithik and Tiger Shroff are starring together for the first time.

The makers of Blank recently released a new song, Warning Nahi Dunga. Sung by Amit Mishra, the song pretty much sums up the vibe of the film which revolves around Sunny Deol and his skilled team trying to catch a suicide-bomber before time runs out. We also get to see some really intense scenes between Sunny and Karan Kapadia in the video. While we can’t help but wait for the film to release, there is an interesting story about Blank that we want to share with you. Yup, you guessed it right! It’s about how the Blank team upped their trailer launch with a really unique launch of the film’s song Warning Nahi Dunga.

The Blank trailer was, of course, launched in style, and it received a lot of love and positive response. With all the excitement around the film, the makers of the film decided to do something different for their next big announcement, so that they can up the hype around the movie. So, Karan Kapadia and director Behzad Khambata landed up at a leading radio station’s office, that too, without any warning and launched the song. This unannounced marketing plan worked in great synergy with the song’s message and received an amazing response from radio listeners and the digital audience. People even took to Twitter, sharing memes of the film.
