Abhishek Chaubey’s next directorial venture Sonchiriya got everyone excited when its first trailer came out. Starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Manoj Bajpayee and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles; the movie seems quite thrilling. Though it didn’t give out too much info, it did connect with the audience. And now the makers have released the second trailer to give us a little more insight. In fact, the new Sonchiriya trailer is quite interesting and badass. The video introduces us to the Rebels of Chambal, one by one. But it is Sushant and Manoj who clearly standout courtesy some dhamakedaar dialogues that they mouth in the video.

There is a scene where the Satya actor shows off his evil laugh and it’s absolutely scary, but brilliant at the same time. In fact, Manoj Bajpayee’s look is also very hatke in the film. It clearly shows that the makers have paid attention to small – small details as well. Sushant as a rebellious and a fearless dacoit also looks very confident. From his accent to body language, everything seems authentic to the T. We even get to see Bhumi Pednekar in the trailer and though it’s not for too long, she does make an impact in her own way. We say so because it’s not easy to shine when you have co-stars like Manoj and Sushant. Anyway, check out the new Sonchiriya trailer right here!

Overall, the second trailer of Sonchiriya has really left us wanting for more. After Udta Punjab, it seems Chaubey has nailed another film which has very desi, rural feel to it. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Sonchiriya is a crime drama which is set in the 70s and also stars Ranvir Shorey, Mahesh Balraj, Shreedhar Dubey and Ashutosh Rana in important roles. The film is scheduled to release on March 1.
