Dharmarakshak Mahaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj: Part 1 trailer is an ode to the legendary Maratha King

Urvita Productions unveiled the action-packed trailer of the historical drama, Dharmarakshak Mahaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj: Part 1 at a grand event held in Mumbai. The film directed by Tushar Vijayrao Shelar and produced by Shekhar Raghunathrao Mohite Patil, Dharmendra Subhashji Bora, Saujanya Suryakantji Nikam, KetanRaje, and NileshRao Bhosale, brings the heroic story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj to life on the big screen, showcasing his valour, sacrifice, and steadfast dedication to protecting his people and religion.

Set to release next week on November 22, 2024, Dharmarakshak Mahaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj: Part 1 captures pivotal moments in Maratha history, including the Battle of Janjira against Siddhi Khairiyat and the Siege of Burhanpur, the financial stronghold of the Mughal Sultanate. The trailer, packed with intense battle sequences and stunning visuals, portrays the legendary warrior’s journey with grandeur and authenticity, offering audiences an immersive experience in the Maratha Empire’s rich legacy.

The event was graced by the entire cast and crew, including Thakur Anoop Singh, who plays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Amruta Khanvilkar as Maharani Yesubai, Kishori Shahane as Rajmata Jijabai Bhosale; Raj Zutshi as Alamgir Aurangzeb; Pradeep Rawat as Mukkarab Khan, and Kamesh Drishyam fane Sawant and Pradeep Kabra as Siddhi commanders.

The screenplay is written by Sandeep Raghunathrao Mohite Patil and Dr. Sudhir Nikam. Produced under the banner of Urvita Productions and presented by Sandeep Raghunathrao Mohite Patil, Dharmarakshak Mahaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj: Part 1 is a multilingual release in both Marathi and Hindi and will be released nationwide in cinemas on November 22, 2024.
