Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi to release this Diwali

At last, the curtains are all set to be unfurled all over Maharashtra after a period of inordinate delay on October 22. Filmmaker Rohit Shetty who met Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray immediatey announced the release of his ambitious multiple star cast film called Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn .
Though the film was completed long back and was seen planned to be released in March last year, all plans were aborted when the pandemic started in a big way and the release was postponed first last year and again earlier this year when it was planned to be released when all of a sudden the second wave of Corona hit all of us and theatres in Maharashtra were ordered to be closed down by the government of Maharashtra. The first person to tweet and thank the Chief Minister of Maharashtra has been none other than Akshay Kumar.
