This is a record day for Diwali Pooja Day collections which is considered one of the worst days for the box office due to very poor collections in the evening shows. With this, The film is highest grossing Diwali Day in the history of Hindi cinema. Moreover, this is also the biggest opening day of the TIGER Franchise.

The last biggest record on this day is less than 20 Cr. This indeed proves the fantastic box office pull of Salman Khan who always makes a record when coupled with the right kind of content. The film has beaten previous Diwali Day record by 3x.

Given the great collections on Diwali Pooja day, it seems very likely that Tiger 3 will shatter all records on day 2 which is a national holiday and considered one of the biggest days as far as the box office is concerned.
