The film centres around a young boy, Akash Pratap Singh, who finds himself caught in the web of a troubled household. Sent to an army hostel as a means of escape, he discovers solace in the sport of boxing. Through rigorous training and exercises and unwavering determination, he transforms his dormant inner pain into strength, vowing to protect his mother and younger brother at any cost.

Main Ladega is also a gruelling journey of the heart, which speaks of determination, resilience, and dreams. The Gaurav Rana directorial stars Akash Pratap Singh, who is fit for a perfect portrayal.

It is a novel that speaks to the story of a novel that speaks about Akash, a lad from a disastrous family who stands at a crucial juncture in his life. Akash’s mother endures domestic violence, following which he discovers solace and purpose in the world of boxing and gets an escape from his alcoholic father’s brutality and approaches an army hostel, a second chance in life. The struggles went on constantly, thrashing the social pressures and humiliations.

Through the protagonist’s journey, the engaging and appealing film highlights the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity and the salient strength found in standing up for what one feels is right. It serves as a poignant reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is a lot of hope and redemption.

While Akash Pratap Singh is at his best in the role of the protagonist, almost every other actor also does his or her best including Vallari Viraj whom plays his Maharashtrian college-mate with whom he falls in love gradually. Ashwath Bhatt is good as the coach of the protagonist while Jyoti Gaba and Gandharv Dewan are good as the parents.

To sum up, all that I can say is that Main Ladega is a poignant and inspiring film that delves deep into the human spirit, showcasing the power of resilience and determination and Akash Pratap Singh whom plays the leading man as well as the writer of the story, screenplay and dialogues has the shades of an all-round actor like Aamir Khan in the near future.
