Ajay Devgn’s Mayday successfully completes Baramati schedule confirms line producer Shaukat Shaikh
The movie, which went on floors in December 2020, will hit the screens in April 2022.

Line producer Shaukat Shaikh, who owns Fisherman Films Line Production Company and, has got the outdoor shoots done of many films in Lonavala, Khandala, and Konkan region. The Baramati schedule of Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan-starrer “Mayday” was recently wrapped up and Shaukat was in charge of it. The movie, which went on floors in December 2020, will hit the screens in April 2022.
Shaukat has known Ajay for many years now, and has also managed the outdoor shoots of many of his films under the banner Ajay Devgn Film. The former shared, “I first met Ajay during the shoot of ‘Omkara’ and have been in touch since then. I have handled many outdoor shoots for projects under his production company. He along with Amitabh sir was here to shoot for the Baramati schedule of their upcoming film ‘Mayday’. It was a two-day schedule and we completed it successfully.”
Talking about Big B, he shared that he was in awe of him ever since he met him during the shoot of “Khakee”. He said, “He is a brilliant performer and I have watched ‘Agneepath’ over 40 times just for him. It is my all time favourite movie. Amitabh sir is a legend, and meeting him is always a delight.”
“Though I met him first during the shoot of ‘Khakee’, this was the first time I got a picture clicked with him. He is such a humble and polite man,” he added. Shaukat concluded by saying, “I wish team ‘Mayday’ all the best. The movie looks quite good, and it will be a thrill to watch it on the big screen.”
