Mardaani 2: Rani Mukerji off to Rajasthan to hunt down her nemesis – details inside!

Rani Mukerji is all set to wow the audience once again with her cop avatar. Her film, Mardaani 2, went on floors last month and now the latest update is that the actress will travel to Rajasthan to hunt down her nemesis. Yes, as per media reports, the second schedule of Mardaani 2 will see Rani launch a substantial operation to find the ruthless villain in Jaipur and Kota. The much-awaited action-packed schedule will kick off in the first week of May.

Talking about the same, director Gopi Puthran said, “It’s an intense one-month long schedule in Rajasthan which forms the backdrop to the story of Mardaani 2. Rani’s investigation will take her to Jaipur and Kota. Given that we are shooting in peak summer of Rajasthan, it will be physically demanding because Rani will be doing action sequences too. The entire team is thrilled to be shooting in the beautiful state of Rajasthan and we are looking forward to the love and cooperation from the people.”

In the first part of the film, Rani delivered a stupendous act and stumped the audiences. The film’s plot was all about Rani taking on the kingpin of a child trafficking racket. While we totally loved Mardaani, we are now eager to see how Mardaani 2 pans out. And also, we want to know who will play the villain in this one. Any guesses?
