Actor and producer Vansh Luthra who was previously seen in the Czech film Destination Paradise on Disney Hotstar and has the Hollywood film The Performance starring Jeremy Piven and a Polish film titled Soulcatcher in the pipeline, now with his partner Eshaan Rajadhyaksha producing a Czech film tilted Two Words as They Key under the banner of their production house White Silhouette Productions.

Giving insights about the film he says, “Probably first ever Czech film to be produced by Indians. The film ‘Two Words as They Key’ is a Czech movie set across several continents, stories about the relationship between parents and children, about fate and about the unknown forces that guide our actions. The three stories coincide of a Japanese businessman who wants to go on a journey to the Himalayas, a Czech writer going to Indonesia jungles and a priest in New York who deals with strange dreams. Their separate journeys begin to intertwine, and eventually come together to form one great story of their lives. This film is a big stepping stone for me, Eshaan, our team and our company White Silhouette Productions which is seeded in the Czech Republic. Big work was done by Eshaan who travelled with them to India and France and took care of the whole production effortlessly. The movie has been shot in Denmark, Czech Republic, Japan, Indonesia, USA and India.”

Sharing about what prompted them to back the project he states, “This was our first stint as producers for a Czech film. Me and my partners here Eshaan, Ajay and Julie have been working tirelessly on making films and finding the right stories. With this film everything came in line. A Czech film by a well reputed director, being shot in India (Himalayas and Varanasi) and this film being a continuation of his previous film, which I absolutely loved. I honestly approached the director to cast me as an actor, but something even better was on the cards. Being a producer, my team and I am very proud of this film.”

Talking about how he developed the interest in Czech films Vansh mentioned, “I came to study film here in Czech Republic and since then have been a big fan of Czech cinema. Especially films by Milos Forman. I also have been learning Czech language for the past 2 years and have some roles in the pipeline for Czech shows, and trust me it’s not an easy language to learn. This country feels like second home.”

Describing his working experience he says, “It was an absolute pleasure to be part of this film and the artists too. The director Dan Svatek is a gem of a person and it is super smooth to work and collaborate with him. We were also interacting with the Japanese actors since the beginning of the film. It was not easy finding a Japanese actor in Europe, and all kudos goes to Julie for this who found Gen in Austria. Gen is a very humble person and a very on point actor – right from his audition to his performance everything was spectacular. The DOP Jakub, and the Executive Producer Patrick were all great to work with. But most importantly it was our team Eshaan, Ajay, Julie and I giving it our all for this film”
