The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences shared a clip on their Instagram handle of Alia Bhatt performing to Ghar More Pardesiya featuring Varun Dhawan, from the film Kalank.

Released in 2019, Kalank was directed by Abhishek Varman, produced by Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and the song is composed by Pritam, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya and vocals by Shreya Ghoshal and Vaishali Mhade. The film had a big ensemble cast featuring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sonakshi Sinha.
