Child actor Swarali Kamath is making her film debut in the upcoming film “Gypsy”. Out of 200 girls, Swarali has been selected for the role and the film Gypsy was launched with a mahurat released in Pune. Yash Manohar Sanas is producing “Gypsy” in collaboration with Bolpat Creations through his production company Yash Sanas Films. Shashi Chandrakant Khandare is making his directorial debut after fulfilling various responsibilities like Clap Boy, Assistant Director for more than 25 films so far.
At Shri Sadguru Shankar Maharaj Samadhi Math Dhankawadi Pune, the muhurat of the upcoming movie ‘Gypsy’ was performed by the corporator Rajendra Aba Shilimkar. Senior journalist, Shankar Maharaj’s servant Nanasaheb Naidu, social worker Srinivas (Bhaiyasaheb) Nigde, writer-director Shashi Chandrakant Khandare, producer Yash Manohar Sanas, executive producer Mangesh Bhimraj Jondhale, manager Vijay Maske, sound designer Vikas Khandare, child artiste Swarali Kamathe were present.
A seven- to eight-year-old child actor was wanted for the lead role in Gypsy. But she also needed to have other skills besides acting. Accordingly, the profiles of two hundred girls were initially checked. The audition was held in Pune. Seventy-eight child artists came to audition. There was also Swarali Kamathe who could fit the role in it. Swarali, who lives in Jejuri, is studying in the third grade. Swarali is an expert in dance. She also learns Taekwondo, Parkover and Gymnastics. For this, she travels daily from Jejuri to Pune with her mother. So, there is no doubt that the role of a gypsy will take four months due to the extremely hardworking tone. The poster for the movie Gypsy was recently launched on social media. The shooting of the film will also start soon.
