After seeing Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh back to back in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films, we all were waiting for the ace director to opt for a fresh casting. And this year SLB did so when he announced the cast for his next Inshallah, we all were glad to see Salman Khan (who is working with Bhansali after 20 years) paired opposite Alia Bhatt. But excitement aside, we were waiting for an update on this film and a tabloid carried one today.
As per the report, it was said that Salman wanted to avert Inshallah’s clash with Rohit Shetty’s Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi. For the same, he called up Kumar and even assured to not have his film release on Eid 2020 as planned. But we have a different story, yes; a source from Inshallah‘s production team exclusively told us that this report is “untrue”. Now with this clarification, we are happy that next year’s Eid will have a double treat for fans.
We had told you earlier that both these films will release on Eid 2020, considering how every Eid belongs to Bollywood’s Bhaijan we will have to see if Khiladi Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s film gives SLB’s Insallah a tough fight at the box office. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such interesting updates from Bollywood.
