Today morning (May 6) netizens woke up to the teaser of the much awaited season 2 of Sacred Games and it is all over the internet right now. While we said goodbye to many pivotal characters last season, in the second one we will be welcoming Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey into the world of Sacred Games. The plot of the show is based on twists and with Kalki and Ranvir coming in, we expect some major ones. While the first look is intriguing, read on to know what characters the two will be playing and also don’t miss a few of the unseen pictures.

Based on Vikram Chandra’s novel by the same name, Sacred Games took the country by storm when it released last year. The series has created its own fan base and has become a digital cult. Today, as the teaser dropped, we saw two new members joining the cast. While Kalki plays the role of Batya, Ranvir will be portraying the role of Shahid Khan. Kalki’s look gives us a hint of her character having a spiritual bend but we’ll know for sure only when the show releases. Talking about being a part of Sacred Games, Kalki said, “Personally, I am a fan of the series, and it is super awesome to be a part of the Sacred Games and Netflix family. Season 2 promises to be much more exciting and I cannot wait for viewers to watch me in the series.” Meanwhile, Pankaj Tripathi who was introduced as Gaitonde’s third father will have a brief role this time.
