Dharma Production’s Kalank has become one of the most anticipated films of the year. As the release date of the film inches closer, the unveiling of the film has begun. Today, Karan Johar gave us a sneak peek into the film and has promised something more for tomorrow, stirring excitement among the fans. Maybe we might get to see the first look of the film tomorrow. The film is a period drama and also stars Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles. Read on to know more.

Kalank is a multi-starrer period film set in the 40s and is very close to the producer Karan Johar’s heart. Today, on his social media handle, Karan shared a beautiful picture. The photo features a couple in a boat rowing through a lake surrounded with lotuses and dense fog in the air. With the picture that he shared, Karan wrote an emotional message and it looks like the ace filmmaker is missing his father a lot. He wrote, “A film that was born in my heart and mind 15 years ago….a film I passionately believe in…the last film my father worked on before he left us….it was his dream to see this film come through….I couldn’t fulfil his dream then….my spirit was broken….but today his wish has found a relationship with celluloid….the story of turbulent relationships and eternal love has found a voice….the film has been woven,nurtured and visualised by ABHISHEK VARMAN….and the film Is KALANK! The film is very dear to Karan, as it has been with him for 15 years and he is leaving no stone unturned to make the viewers feel special.
