ALTBalaji drops trailer of their epic new show The Verdict: The State vs Nanavati- watch video

Ekta Kapoor’s ALTBalaji has in the past delivered hit shows like The Test Case and BOSE: Dead or Alive and now is back with a new one. It is titled The Verdict: State vs Nanavati and the digital platform is creating waves with its trailer release.

A controversial drama, it is based on the 1959 court case of KM Nanavati Vs State of Maharashtra, which is still considered one of the most sensational criminal cases in India. The case was of a Parsi Naval officer, KM Nanavati who shot dead his wife’s lover Prem Ahuja and then confessed his crime to the police. The Verdict features a stellar cast of Elli Avram, Angad Bedi, Manav Kaul, Sumeet Vyas, Kubbra Sait, Makarand Deshpande, Saurabh Shukla, Swanand Kirikire, Viraf Ashish Patel amongst others. The 10-episode web series is based on these controversial true events. Watch the trailer below:
