Bala: Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar start shooting for Dinesh Vijan’s next!

After giving the audience a spectacular performance in two back-to-back hits, Andhadhun (2018) and Badhaai Ho (2018), Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to start working on his next. He will start shooting for Dinesh Vijan’s directorial titled Bala.

Apart from Ayushmann, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam will be seen in the film as well. Dinesh Vijan revealed in a piece of local news, “This time last year, we were shooting for Stree, and it’s surreal that we are starting another film with Amar today. Bala is entertaining witty and lovable, and we have a great cast to tell this story!” If you have been wondering how the movie’s name Bala popped up, it is because Ayushmann’s nickname in the film is so.

The movie is about a guy who is suffering from premature balding and looks at the different solutions he comes up with to deal with the same. Both, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam play major roles in the film. While Bhumi plays this dusky small-town educated girl, Yami plays a supermodel who is based in Lucknow. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the project also stars Saurabh Shukla, Jaaved Jaaferi and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles. With the film going on floors today (May 6), the locations have been confirmed as Mumbai and Kanpur.
