Mumbai, March 8, 2020: Celebrating diverse voices in storytelling, Netflix brought together 15 inspiring women creators and actors for International Women’s Day. The image, featuring a cross section of participants, includes women across different entertainment formats – films, series, and comedy.

Curated for International Women’s Day, whose official theme this year is “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights”, this image celebrates women, and the inspiring stories they tell which start important, and often hard, conversations that help to challenge the way we see the world.

The collection,  available all year on Netflix, is curated by 55 female creators from behind and in front of the camera – including Shefali Shah, Kiara Advani, Mithila Palkar Salma Hayek, Millie Bobby Brown, Lana Condor, and Ava DuVernay. The collection is available at Netflix.com/BecauseSheWatched – or by searching “Because She Watched” on Netflix.
