Papon renders Nirbota Dao Gaan – an ode to peace! Song out now

All through 2020, singer-songwriter-composer Papon has ventured into diverse creative avenues in the music space. He has leveled with the need of the hour by pulling off virtual concerts and creating songs with repeat value – Sajda Karoon, Dance It Out from Axone, Paar Hobo Aei Xömöy, Haaye Rabba, and Nilaanjänā to name a few.

The multifaceted artist continues to offer music as a companion during these tough times. Most recently, Papon lent his voice to music maestro Indraadip Dasgupta’s latest composition – Nirobota Dao Gaan. It is a song that signifies peace in our current tumultuous situation and interestingly, it has been created around a verse of a Rabindra Sangeet. Papon’s soothing new track releases today across all platforms.

Glad about the release of the song, Papon says, “Bengal has been my home for a long time and collaborating with artists there always makes me very happy. Singing for Indraadip Dasgupta (music composer) was an amazing experience as always. The situation in Bengal after the pandemic and Amphan will take some time to improve. I can only hope that music acts as a healer. This song is essentially is about finding peace when things are difficult and I wish that for everyone.”

Produced by Kaleidoscope, composed by renowned Bengali music maestro Indraadip Dasgupta, penned by Robi Thakur (Rabindranath Tagore) with additional lyrics by Ritam Sen and sung by Papon, Nirobota Dao Gaan is available on all streaming platforms.
