Sonakshi Sinha has been a busy bee with many projects and shoots lined up for the year. However, she took the time out to make a special appearance for her mother Poonam Sinha, who has been hot on the campaign trail as a debutante contestant in the Lucknow elections. Recently, Sona apparently flew down to Lucknow only for a day, just to make it to the rally. Her brother Kush Sinha was also present during the campaigning. When contacted, Sonakshi said, “I was very happy to be in Lucknow with my mother and was overwhelmed with the turnout and support that we saw at our rally. I wasn’t there as a celebrity but in the capacity of a daughter to support her mother.”
During the event, she maintained her stance on wanting to make an honest, positive impact on the youth and encouraged them to do their bit for the nation by exercising their right to vote and to make the right choice for their constituency. Work wise, Sonakshi will be seen in Dabangg 3 alongside Salman Khan. The actress also stars in space-drama Mission Mangal co-starring Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu. Apart from these two films, Sona has also signed Bhuj: The Pride of India which has an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk and few others.
