Not Ayushamann Khurrana, but Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao in the running for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Bhool Bhulaiyaa starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Ameesha Patel was an instant hit back in 2007. Then recently, the news surfaced online that the producers of the film are keen on making a sequel of the film and everyone started wondering who will essay Akshay Kumar’s quirky role in the sequel. Ayushmann Khurrana’s name came up but we exclusively told you that the project did not materialise for him. Now the latest buzz is that Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao’s name are being considered for the role.

A source close to the project revealed to an entertainment portal that it is a tough call for the makers right now since both – Vicky and Rajkummar – have their own strengths. There will be more follow-ups, screen-tests, look tests and the likes after which either one of the two will be cast in the lead role for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
