Ranbir and Alia; The Premier Bollywood Wedding of the year

The word spreads fast about the marriage of Bollywood’s beloved couple, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who are reportedly to tie the knot during the next week. Although an official affirmation is yet to come from the dyad’s end, multiple sources close to them have approved and indeed informed several media houses about the same.

Reports claim, that their wedding will be a proper Punjabi Style wedding at a Gurudwara followed by a langar, during which the pair won’t be physically present, although serving and prayers will be done on their behalf. Pre-wedding festivities are to be carried out at a banquet booked by Ranbir near his Pali Hill home, another publication claims.

Sources have also informed publications about Alia’s pre-wedding or Bachelorette parties planned by her besties Akansha Rajan and Anushka Rajan to take place at the latter’s home. Ranbir, on the other hand, too, is believed to be preparing for his bachelors, inviting his closest circle. Another media house observed that Neetu Singh had picked up her wedding dresses from B-town favorite, Manish Malhotra, as she was spotted carrying large outfit parcels to the groom-to-be’s house.

The D-Day is reportedly the 15th of April, Friday with their Sangeet and Haldi ceremonies on 13th finally with their reception on 16th. Their wedding guests list shall be inclusive of close families, friends and other reputed personas. On the surface, this wedding seems nothing like the Big Fat Bollywood wedding we’ve witnessed in the past couple of years, although we are sure not to be disappointed with how this one turns out either.

This couple has been in the limelight since their very first public appearance together and the fans just can’t get enough of their chemistry. Their very first movie together, Brahmastra, is all set to release on the ninth of September, whose promotions have already begun and now, with the news of their wedding out…all eyes are on them! We hope the couple fulfils their hearts’ desires with their wedding and that this marriage brings the happiness and comfort they seek.
