After the successful Bahubali franchise, SS Rajamouli’s next project RRR is touted to be another magnum opus coming from the director. Starring South stars Junior NTR and Ram Charan, RRR also has some bigwigs from Bollywood too, namely, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles. With so much of an x-factor involved, Rajamouli’s film has had to face some hiccups on its way to the big screen. Yes, the film’s shoot started some time ago and all was going smooth until Ram Charan’s injury brought things to a standstill.

While the team was shooting in Pune Ram Charan injured his ankle while working out at the gym. After that, the shoot was put on hold for a month which affected the entire schedule for the film. Now as things seem to be getting back on track, Rajamouli has asked his team to plan back to back schedules without any breaks to cover up the delay.

Both, Junior NTR and Ram Charan decided to complete the shoot at the earliest as their other projects are lined up too. Rajamouli has promised to complete the principle shoot by the end of this year and if delayed NTR, Charan will have to work for it in January 2020 as well. The VFX work has also begun for the film as they are looking at July 30, 2020 for a release. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more updates on this front.
