Shankar Mahadevan offered one lakh rupees scholarship to the top 6 contestants of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs

Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is the longest-running singing reality show format that has been ruling the hearts of audiences for almost 3 decades. After introducing the world to talented powerhouses like Shreya Ghoshal, Shekhar Ravijani, Kunal Ganjawala, Sugandha Mishra, Kamal Khan, Raja Hasan, and Vaishali Mhade who have carved a name for themselves in the industry, Zee TV is giving some exceptional young singing prodigies a chance to shine on the grandest stage once again with the 9th season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs. This season viewers are getting to watch a fresh panel of judges including Shankar Mahadevan, Anu Malik, and Neeti Mohan guide the young singing sensation with Bharti Singh entertaining one and all as the host.

The top 6 contestants have become household names because of their talent and will be seen battling against each other in the Semi-Finale episode. This weekend the viewers will have a gala time as the Bollywood actors – ‘Rakul Preet Singh and Satish Kaushik’ will be seen gracing the special episode. While all the contestants have been winning the hearts of the judges and the jury members throughout the season with their outstanding performances, during the semi-finale episode, impressed by the top 6 contestants’ talent, Shankar Mahadevan promised the top 6 contestants that he will be giving them One Lakh rupees scholarship and a digital tablet. This scholarship and tablet will help them to pursue their career in singing along with their studies.

Shankar Mahadevan mentioned, “All the kids have been impressing us since the start of the show and we are extremely happy to witness such amazing talent in this show. As a token of appreciation, my partner Sridhar Ranganathan (from Shankar Mahadevan Academy) and I have decided to offer a one lakh rupees scholarship and a digital tablet to all the Top 6 contestants for their future studies and also to learn music. So, on behalf of me and my academy, I would like to give them this small gift.”
