Singer Shashwat Singh talks about his medley in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani

Singer Shashwat Singh is experiencing a whirlwind of emotions as he reflects on his journey in the world of music, particularly in Karan Johar’s recent blockbuster, “Rocky Rani ki Prem Kahani.” For Shashwat, this opportunity is nothing short of a dream come true, and he’s overflowing with gratitude for being part of such an iconic project.

“When I spoke to Shashwat,” he says, “the songs from the movie are really special and close to my heart, as I have been listening to them and singing them since my childhood. I loved them so much that the universe has given me this opportunity to sing this medley from the past alongside legendary Dharmendra Sir and the charismatic persona of Ranveer Singh. It’s a tremendous privilege.”

“He further adds, singing this medley was genuinely fun because, of course, Dada studio’s engineers are my friends; they just told me to flow freely while expressing and dubbing the songs. The medley was a tribute to the golden era of Indian cinema, which has left an indelible mark on the hearts of generations. I am really very glad about it.”
