Sonakshi Sinha’s next Khaandani Shifakhaana in legal trouble – here’s why!

Dabangg actress Sonakshi Sinha, who last did an item song in Total Dhamaal, was all set to be seen in the T-series film titled Khandaani Shifakhaana. However, looks like her film will have to cross some hurdles before it translates on the big screen. As per reports, documentary filmmaker Amitabh Parashar has accused T-Series of stealing the film’s story idea. T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar, Vice President Anjali Bhushan and Consultant Mukesh Desai have been sent a legal notice to stop the film’s production with immediate effect. Parashar had sent the script of his film Bhaag Mohabbat to T-Series last year. The National Award Winning filmmaker also revealed that he met the T-Series team in 2018 when he was here for the Mumbai Film Festival, and they gave him an acknowledgment for receiving his script.

Talking about the legal notice, Amitabh Parashar told us, “I don’t know what their response will be, but I want to see their script. If they have already started shooting the film then I must get my credit and I have also asked for compensation.” Parashar further added that the film was a work of fiction based on the world around a street sex doctor.

Further commenting on the controversy, Amitabh added, “I would have never gone there if I would have known that my script would get stolen.” When we contacted people at T-Series, a spokesperson from the company told us, “The notice has come, and the legal team is taking care of it.” T-series also issued an official statement that said,”The allegations made by Amitabh Parashar are false, unfounded and completely denied. We will take action as will be legally advised to deal with the defamatory allegations made against the company and the film.” Now that trouble is in store for Sonakshi’s next, we will have to wait and watch what will be the film’s fate.
