Eid 2020 is going to be one big celebration for Bollywood buffs, especially because it will have two major superstars’ films clashing at the box-office. As we all know, Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and Salman Khan’s Inshallah will release on the same day around Eid next year. But do you know, these films will also mark directors Rohit Shetty and Sanjay Leela Bhansali clashing once again at the box office.
Yes, after 2015’s Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale clash, these two directors are gearing up for another box-office race. However, Rohit seems to be unfazed about the clash, as he spoke to an online portal. The Sooryvanshi director said that there is still a lot of time for that. In fact, they have not even started thinking about it, they have just started shooting for the film, so, they would want to focus on it. Rohit also added that these days everything is very controversial, but its charm has gone because even a controversy dies within 48 hours nowadays.
Well, Rohit’s last cop drama with Ranveer Singh- Simmba was a hit, so we feel Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s Sooryavanshi might give some tough competition to Inshallah (starring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt). Well, only the 2020 Eid will tell who wins, until then stay tuned to CineBlitz!
