SOTY 2 trailer: Tiger, Ananya, Tara shake a leg on Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’s remixed version and here’s a teaser

The much-awaited trailer of Student of the Year 2 is out and it looks super fun. Starring Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday in the lead, the film is directed by Punit Malhotra. While everyone has liked the trailer and is looking forward to the new batch of Saint Teresa, we, on the other hand, observed a few things in the trailer video and the highlight point was definitely the remix version of the old hit song Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. The new version of the chartbuster number sounds more peppy and groovy for sure. Read on to know more about the same.

Ananya and Tara, who are making their debut with SOTY 2, look impressive in the trailer. However, you can’t deny that Tiger stands out the most in the video. Apart from the three actors, quite a few things were good in the trailer. It also gave us a glimpse of a dance number which is the remake of 1972 hit song Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani from the film Jawani Diwani. While the old track was a rage back in the day, the new one also has the potential to click with the youth and become the party number of the year. The old hit featured Randhir Kapoor and Jaya Bachchan whereas the new one has all the three students. The song has been choreographed by Adil Shaikh, Remo D’Souza and Farah Khan. This means we’ll get to see Tiger, Ananya and Tara show off their moves in the upbeat number. And that’s why we really want the makers to release the song soon.

Whether the remix version will turn out to be a crowd pleaser or not, only time will tell but for now, we are indeed looking forward to SOTY 2 and all its songs as well. After all, the first part which came out in 2012 was also high on good music. So obviously we are expecting an impressive music album this time around too. Anyway, coming back to the trailer, it was launched amidst much fanfare at an event in Mumbai today in the presence of the entire star cast and producer Karan Johar.
