Tannishtha Chatterjee shot for over 28 hours despite having high fever for ALTBalaji’s CARTEL

National Film Award-winning actress Tannishtha Chatterjee will be seen as Romilla in ALTBalaji’s upcoming thriller entertainment Cartel. The actress, who is known for her acting prowess, displayed great determination on the digital series sets. So much so that the entire crew was in awe of her dedication for the show. It happened so that during one of the important scenes to establish her character, Tannishtha gave her best despite being under the weather. Tannishtha, who plays Romilla in the show, had a high fever however, the actress chose to shoot for the scene and not stall it. As a result, the entire cast and crew lauded her passion for her work.
The scene also involved a dance sequence. Tannishtha also performed a choreographed dance sequence while struggling with her fever during the shoot. She shot for over 28 hours non-stop despite the struggle, which shows the amount of dedication, commitment, and willpower she carries as an artist.

Recalling this incident, Tannishtha said, “The show must go on. My co-actor Jitendra gave me some herbal medicine which helped. My director was very sensitive to the situation and offered a lot of help and support throughout, which helped me to nail the scene. My choreographer, director and co-actors made the environment on- set so positive that while performing I forgot my physical discomfort and tried to give my best.”
Tannishtha Chatterjee plays a fiery Romila in the show. She has an integral part in the multi-starrer, which stars Supriya Pathak, Tanuj Virwani, Jitendra Joshi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Pranati Rai Prakash, Divya Agarwal, Girija Oak Godbole, Jitendra Joshi, Amey Wagh, Monica Dogra, and others. Cartel is set in present-day Mumbai for the unversed and is based around a family called The Angres.
