Versatile actress Saie Tamhankar is an actress of many talents. She has not only broken barriers when it comes to language, formats, genres, scales and shades, but has also owned every single one of her characters. Her self-made journey has always been one that has inspired millions! She recently walked the IIFA red carpet to victory.
Her memorable performance as Shama in Mimi has won her an IIFA Award for ‘Best Actress In A Supporting Role’. Needless to say, Saie had already left her fans and critics impressed with her performance. And this award, that also marks her first IIFA award, is only the icing on the cake!
Speaking about winning the IIFA award, “I am elated to win an award for a character that is so dear to me and that I will always cherish. Shama is really special and I am glad to be recognized for a film like Mimi. I am grateful to see all the hard work paying off.
