Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame released more than a month ago (April 26). And looks like the film is still continuing its marvellous run at the box office. In fact, after breaking records left, right and centre, there was one feat that everyone was expecting it to break. Yes, we are talking about Avatar‘s all-time worldwide box office record. For those of you who don’t know, let us tell you that Avatar (2009) is currently the highest grossing film at the worldwide box office. It is a record that the movie has held for a decade now and looks like finally a film is going to break it. Yes, Avengers: Endgame is now in striking distance of the record and we can’t keep calm.
Avengers: Endgame at the end of day 34 has $2.68 billion in its kitty at the worldwide box office. That means it is just $100 million away from Avatar‘s record collection ($2.78 billion). With the film continuing its run in the North American and worldwide market, we expect it to achieve this feat! But will it? Well, time will tell. But one thing is for sure, Avengers: Endgame will go in the history books. It has achieved this massive amount in just slightly over a month, while Avatar took more than a couple of months.
