Exclusive! Krish reveals Kangana Ranaut OUSTED him over Sonu Sood’s scenes in Manikarnika; says, ‘She was sweet, but things changed later’

Krish a.k.a Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, the original director of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi was quiet till a few days ago. The filmmaker wanted his film to release in a positive space before giving out his version. And that’s what he did! In an exclusive interview with us, Krish mentions clearly that he was ousted from Manikarnika by Kangana and that too because of Sonu Sood’s scenes. Apparently, Kangana wanted to chop a few scenes and bring changes to a few sequences that the actor had done. Sonu threatened to walk out and Krish didn’t support Kangana. That didn’t go down to well with Kangana and you know what followed!

While Kangana’s sister Rangoli maintains that Krish walked out, the filmmaker defends his integrity graciously. Here’s what he had to say! Talking about the whole controversy, Krish revealed to us exclusively, “I do not want any confrontation. I’ve told my story. Making a period film involves a lot of pre-production, a lot of planning and it is out there for people to judge. People have seen my films previously, so it is all out there. All this happened in such a planned manner that it hurt me.”

Talking about the piece-by-piece break down of the masterplan, Krish added, “The poster had my name as Krish. But in the teaser it was written as Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi. What was the necessity of changing my screen name? So that no one will recall Kanche and Gautamiputra? On August 15 the director was Krish, on October 01 it was Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi. And in December it is Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi and Kangana Ranaut. And now, when the film is over, the last scene is shown and cut too, we see Kangana Ranaut and then Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi. Shocking!”

About his ouster, Krish reveals a shocking detail. He says that he wasn’t ousted because of a fight or difference of opinion. The fact that the director didn’t support the actress during the whole showdown with Sonu Sood was the reason. As he added to us exclusively, “She was very sweet on the set with me. I like certain friction and that was there. But later, everything changed once the Sonu Sood issue came out.”

Krish even revealed that he even spoke about the credit being changed. But Kangana gave him a shocking reply! As he mentioned, “I did question Kamal Jain. But at the end of the day so much is happening. I did ask Kamal Jain and the Zee Studios team about the credits. When I was speaking to Kamal Jain, Kangana came in and she was very clear. She was like ‘when the Sonu Sood thing was happening, you did not support me, now why should I?
