Kalank couples Alia Bhatt-Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha-Aditya Roy Kapur and Madhuri Dixit Nene-Sanjay Dutt were colour co-ordinated for the teaser launch

Kalank starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and Aditya Roy Kapur is all set to release on April 17 and we certainly can’t keep calm now that we have watched the magnificent teaser. The movie is directed by Abhishek Verman and is a period drama set in the 1940s. The buzz about the movie was going for a long time and then recently the first looks were revealed which further raised our anticipation. While the Kalank teaser is currently the talk of the town and rightly so, the star cast of the film has caught our attention for one more reason. Well, all the actors arrived at the teaser launch wearing colour-coordinated outfits according to their pairing in the movie. And we found it quite cool. Both Alia and Varun were twinning in white whereas Sonakshi and Aditya looked absolutely ravishing in their respective red outfits. And last but not the least, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri were dressed in black. Since this hit jodi of the 80s and 90s is returning on the big screen after a long time, everyone is super excited to see what magic they create on the 70 mm canvas. As for the other two jodis, while Alia and Varun have delivered back-to-back hits, Sona and Aditya have teamed up for the very first time and their pairing does look interesting.

All in all, we love the star cast and the psychoanalysis behind the teaser, but, we must say, this dressing up in colour co-ordination too has worked and we are now waiting for the trailer launch. Till then stay tuned to CineBlitz for more updates on Kalank.
