Ahaana Kumra is one of the bolder actresses in B-Town. She has never refrained from talking about social issues and raising her voice when needed. And now that the wave of #Metoo has hit Bollywood as well, The Accidental Prime Minister actress also opened up about an incident where she felt uncomfortable on the sets of her much-appreciated film Lipstick Under My Burkha. And it involves none other than the acclaimed producer Prakash Jha.

In an interview, the actress revealed that once, Mr. Jha walked in on the sets of the film and she was filming the sex scene. He then passed a remark and it was so uncomfortable to digest that from him, that she just went to her director Alankrita Srivastava and said, “He is not my director, why he is on the set and why do I have to hear such a remark from him? With all due respect, he is the producer.”

The director politely asked the producer to leave. Aahana said, “Alankrtia asked him to leave and he left. He understood that space. He understood the fact that we were not comfortable with him around. He just politely left and that was nice of him.” We tried talking to the actress about the same but she did not wish to comment on the matter just now.

On the work front, Aahana was last seen in The Accidental Prime Minister co-starring Anupam Kher, Akshaye Khanna, and Suzanne Bernert. She will now be seen in Shamshera which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.
