Actress and content creator Pavni Mehrotra best known for her work in Section 375 and Bal Ganesh Ki Pathashhala is set to feature in web series Classfull starring alongside Gautam Rode, Rohitashv Gour and Hari Dubey. Directed by Shubham Sinha and Written and produced by Kundan Kumar Thakur under the banner of KunRa Cinema, the series is touted to be a tribute to society’s unsung heroes, our teachers. The five-episode series will go on floors from mid-October onwards.

Describing her character in the shoe, Pavni says, “I come from a small town in UP, where the character like Mamta ji is very relevant and peculiar. I have loved mimicking small town aunties, and when I found out that I would be playing Mamta ji, I got really excited because somehow I am naturally good at playing such characters, which I often play in my reels and videos.”

She further adds, “Mamta ji is a lady who is confused within herself. Although she has been appointed as a teacher, it seems like there is not a single trait that fits her personality as a teacher. She is chirpy, quirky, fun-loving, very talkative, and loves doing her makeup. Basically, she is into everything apart from teaching.”

Sharing her excitement about the series, she tells, “When I got to know “Bhabhi ji Ghar par Hain” Rohitashv aka Tiwari ji have been casted and is going to be a part of this series. I was thrilled with excitement that I will get a chance to act with such prestigious actor. Also, I’m work with Gautam Rode and Hari Dubey. Just can’t wait to start with the shoot.”

Lastly, speaking about the show, she mentions, “The show uses humor and irony to expose the flaws and shortcomings of the government education system. It highlights the lack of infrastructure, inadequate funding, and poorly trained teachers that plague many government schools. ”
