As an actor, one wants to explore not just genres, but also try their hand at a variety of mediums, especially given the times we are in Adhyayan Sunan, known for his work in Raaz: The Mystery Continues (2009), Mahesh Bhatt’s Jashn, Aashram, Haal-e-Dil (2008) and Damaged 2 (2020), among others. The actor recently made headlines when he spoke about projects being shelved, and the existence of lobbying, in Bollywood.

While there are roadblocks for everyone, and so was the case for him, Adhyayan has carved a niche for himself, slowly and steadily moving towards achieving his goals, one step at a time. His father, Shekhar Suman, Indian television’s first superstar and a celebrated host, has set the bar too high for him, and Adhyayan, does in fact, look up to him as one of his inspiration.

Meanwhile, we also have Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, as just a few names who have hosted reality TV, and they’ve truly made a mark with them, and those shows, became synonymous to their name.

Elaborating on the same, Adhyayan says, “I would love to try my hands on hosting reality TV, as that is something that not only seems fun but also something that would help me hone my skills as an artist. The crowd work, the interactions, being impromptu, are just some of the things that come along so naturally as a host, and I’d love to inculcate that.”

He further added, “I have seen my father do some impeccable work when it comes to hosting, his timing, his on-stage presence, his command over the language and the sheer aura he brings with himself, if I could match up to anywhere close to him, I’d consider myself a successful host.”

The actor is gearing up to be a part of Netflix’s biggest project with the country’s finest, and biggest director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
