While the Bollywood audience may enjoy box office clashes to see if their favourite film wins over the other, the situation has often proven to be a challenge for the actors and the filmmakers as the films often suffer in the fight for screens. And looks like Bollywood is gearing up for one such big clash that will take place when Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Ajay Devgn’s untitled film with Ranbir Kapoor will release on the same date. Yes, Ajay’s film and Aamir’s film are both slated for a Christmas 2020 release.
Talking about it, Ajay said that he is not aware of what is happening as far as the clash is concerned. He further shared that his director Luv Ranjan of the untitled film will decide on the date. He concluded by saying that he’s heard that the Hollywood film Avatar 2 is also releasing on the same day, so they will have to clear the release date for that film too. “I heard the same day Avatar is releasing, in that case we both will have to run away. Avatar is big.” Although, in a recent interview, Ranbir did mention that the Luv Ranjan film might be postponed further taking in consideration that Ranbir has two films – Brahmastra and Shamshera – lined up for 2020 release already. Let’s see finally which films will clash on the big screen in Christmas 2020.
Buzz is that Disney has pushed the release of Avatar 2 by a year to December 2021. So, most likely it will be an Ajay Devgn-Ranbir Kapoor vs Aamir Khan on Christmas 2020. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such updates and news.
