Pollution is an issue that needs to be addressed not just in Delhi or Mumbai but in every metro. The people are using individual vehicles and not everyone is getting the pollution check done on time. Pollution checking should be compulsory and instead of petrol, there should be more vehicles running on gas. To prevent air pollution PUC checks should be done and more plantations should be done and tree cutting should be totally stopped. People should use public transport or carpool when going to nearby destinations.

Aditya Deshmukh

First of all we have to segregate dry and wet waste in different garbage bins. Secondly, get your car PUC checked regularly so that the air pollution is controlled. Also avoid using plastic because it is a major contributor of pollution and the restrictions that the government has put on we should follow that. We must follow all the rules. I would tell everyone not to litter and split anywhere because we would be making our cities unclean. The world is really a beautiful place to live in so we should not spoil our surroundings by spitting and littering. We must put the waste in garbage bins and set an example for the upcoming generation. Controlling pollution would also help to control diseases. I would say that not only on this day we should control this but follow it for a lifetime. It’s a humble request to all the citizens of the nation to follow this thing every day.

Himanshu Malhotra

One must get the PUC of the vehicle done at regular intervals and also opt for carpooling. Plastics are banned and rules have to be followed strictly. We can’t take nature for granted. We should also plant more trees in all metros.

Vijayendra Kumeria

I try my best to contribute towards pollution control… I keep my cars maintained so that they do not cause a lot of pollution… I try and keep the plastic usage at my house in check…I try and stop others from creating pollution too.

Vivian Dsena

Pollution has been a problem for many years. In cities like Delhi, every member has individual vehicles so they should use carpooling and not all family vehicles should be on the road at the same time. People still don’t segregate dry and wet waste and even use plastic bags despite the ban and burning all of that causes pollution. So rules have to be strict and we all collectively should make an effort to reduce the pollution and people should also join the clean up drive
