Rakshabandhan has a huge significance in our lives, according to Anu. “Rakshabandhan is a bonding festival where you can tie friendship bonds to anybody, friends as well, and not just your siblings. Women can tie rakhis to other women too like the Brahma Kumaris do. We at AAF collaborate with a foundation orphanage to celebrate it,” she shares.
Anu will grace the occasion, give a brief talk and Anufun. She will also with her own hands gift out, apart from Rakhis some writing material to encourage children to use a pen, in this digital age. Anu shares a beautiful bond with her own brother. “My brother Anurag has been my best friend. Apart from giving advice, he also has allowed me to have the fiercely independent life I have had. He is everything to me. We will be celebrating the day together,” she adds.
