Raksha Bandhan is around the corner and everyone is ready to celebrate the occasion with their loved ones. Anu Aggarwal Foundation (https://www.anuaggarwalfoundation.org/), by Bollywood actor, turned Yoga Expert Anu Aggarwal, also has special plans for the day. The actor reveals the same and the bond she shares with her brother. “My foundation is tying up and celebrating with the Vatsalya foundation, which looks after orphans. I will be giving out the rakhis and will encourage the girls to tie rakhi to the boys in the orphanage, for affectionate protection. Also, our foundation partner director Urmil Arya in Delhi gives out Rakhis as ‘Friendly Bonding’ in underprivileged schools in Delhi,” she says.

Rakshabandhan has a huge significance in our lives, according to Anu. “Rakshabandhan is a bonding festival where you can tie friendship bonds to anybody, friends as well, and not just your siblings. Women can tie rakhis to other women too like the Brahma Kumaris do. We at AAF collaborate with a foundation orphanage to celebrate it,” she shares.

Anu will grace the occasion, give a brief talk and Anufun. She will also with her own hands gift out, apart from Rakhis some writing material to encourage children to use a pen, in this digital age. Anu shares a beautiful bond with her own brother. “My brother Anurag has been my best friend. Apart from giving advice, he also has allowed me to have the fiercely independent life I have had. He is everything to me. We will be celebrating the day together,” she adds.
