It was a couple of days back when Akshay took to his Twitter handle to issue an official statement and clear the air surrounding his citizenship. The actor in his statement spoke about his stand while also agreeing that he holds a Canadian passport. Well, there were people who praised the act, there were many others who had way too many questions after that. Now, amidst all the buzz around the topic, actor Anupam Kher has come ahead to support Akshay and wrote on Twitter, “Dear @akshaykumar! Have been reading about you explaining to certain people
about your loyalty to our country. Stop it! Their real profession is to make people like you & me feel defensive for talking in favour of India. You are a doer. You don’t need to explain to anybody.”
