Bhuj: The Pride of India went on floors recently, in fact, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha have been shooting for their parts in Hyderabad since the past few days. Now, the recent update is that the next Ajay Devgn has also joined the cast for the shoot. The actor who returned from a family vacation decided to dive into work soonafter. Ajay will be beginning his schedule on July 11 and will be shooting for some crucial scenes.

As per reports a huge set that looks like Gujarat has been erected in the Ramoji film city in Hyderabad, where Sonakshi and Sanjay have been shooting. Ajay will be joining Sanjay to shoot for some scenes in Hyderabad and then head for the Gujarat schedule where a lot of action scenes are supposed to be shot. Reports also add that Sonakshi and Sanjay have shot for a song choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and a conversational scene. Talking about the characters Ajay plays Squadron leader Vijay Karnik who was in charge of the Bhuj airbase during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. The film talks about the valour of 300 women who reconstructed the Indian Air force airstrip amidst the attack. Sonakshi plays Sunderben a local women and Sanjay plays a civilian.

Directed by debutant Abhishek Dudhaiya the film also stars Parineeti Chopra, Rana Daggubati and Ammy Virk in pivotal parts. The film is set to release on August 14, 2020. For more updates and gossip stay tuned to CineBlitz.
