Boman Irani to make Kannada debut with Yuvarathnaa

Puneeth Rajkumar has started shooting for Yuvarathnaa at scenic locations all around in Karnataka. The film which is being directed by Santhosh Anannddramm has garnered a lot of attention for its cast. In the film, actor Puneeth Rajkumar has been paired opposite Sayyeshha who is making her debut in Sandalwood. V Harikrishna will be scoring the music. The other addition to the starcast is likely to be Bollywood actor Boman Irani. Hombale Films which is the production team has approached Irani who desired to be a part of this project.

As per reports, currently Irani’s dates are being worked out and if it all goes as planned, Boman will be joining the team for its next schedule in Mysuru. If Boman happens to star in this Kannada film, he will surely be a great addition to the Yuvarathnaa team. Actor Puneeth will be seen playing a college student in the film, while Dhanush will be seen as the antagonist. As for Boman’s role, reports state that he could be playing a principal or lecturer of the college. We saw him play a dean in Sanjay Dutt’s Munnabhai MBBS.

Yuvarathnaa has a tagline ‘Power of Youth’ and is set against a college backdrop. As of now this all we know about Boman’s South film, but once dates are locked we hope to get more details on his part.
