Brahmastra: Ayan Mukherji reveals the special connection his film has with Varanasi

Brahmastra is a science-fiction superhero film. From the logo launch itself we have been guessing that the story will have magical weapons from Indian mythology. The director of the film Ayan Mukerji has now also revealed that why Varanasi city is so important to his upcoming film.

Ayan Mukerji revealed in a statement that, “In the film, Varanasi is that place where all the characters meet for the first time and the actual adventure begins from there. So far, we have shot a song and an action sequence and hopefully, we will be able to present it well.”

Directed by Ayan Mukherji, Brahmastra is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film also features the veteran superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, South star Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. It is slated to release in summer 2020.
