Cannes 2019: Youtube artists Bhuvan Bam-Ashish Chanchlani make their Cannes Debut with World Blogger Awards

Cannes De Festival saw Bollywood celebs like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Sonam K Ahuja make a sizzling entry at the red carpet and impress everyone with their wondrous ensembles and style. But it was not just they who made the headlines! Yes, as the red carpet rolled out in Cannes for the first ever World Blogger Awards, Bhuvan Bam Of Popular Indian YouTube Channel – BB Ki Vines, and Ashish Chanchlani made their smashing debut on it. The awards premiered on 24th May in Cannes at Hotel Martinez.

Fans will be happy to know that Bhuvan won the Global Entertainer Of The Year 2019 award, for his excellent contribution to digital entertainment, whereas Ashish won the Best Comedy Influencer Award at the event. Bhuvan was one of the three Indians to be nominated for the awards.

Ecstatic on winning the award, Bhuvan expressed, “I feel extremely happy and proud to win ‘Global Entertainer Of The Year’ on such a huge forum. This award rewards all of my hard work and perseverance, and I dedicate it to my BB Ki Vines army for always believing in me and never giving up. Onward and upwards now!”

Ashish also took to his social media page and posted a picture saying, “Extremely proud to tell you all that I won the “BEST COMEDY INFLUENCER” Award at the WORLD BLOGGERS AWARD @ Cannes. I was so emotional there. Couldn’t believe.”
